Political Rant Part 4: Leftist’s Orange Pulp

Have you ever heard the story of the little karma chameleon that turned orange when some meanies tried to choke him?

It’s a long story but the lesson of that story is that you probably shouldn’t choke little karma chameleon unless you want to see them turn orange.

It was a bit obvious that the NPD would win most of the seats in quebec with all the publicity about them on the news while everyone else were busy fighting each others with negative attack adds. What is less obvious is why Gille Duceppe said that a vote for the bloc quebecois was a vote to prevent a conservative majority… considering that Quebec’s seats only make up almost 25 percent of the seats in the House of Commons you can understand that this was a lie to all quebecers. This lie gave a major boost to the NPD and literally made the province of Quebec turn orange. And now Gille Duceppe resigned and people don’t know what’s going to happen to Quebec’s sovereignty movement (mouvement souverainiste du Québec).

No one can really tell what the future holds but it’s my guess that the Bloc’s blue dragon is merely sleeping for now. If things take too long to change he’s sure to awake to give us our province.

I’m happy with the results of those elections even if the conservative party has a majority for now. I know that we’re heading through some really dark times with the economical depression and all but the masks are finally coming down and I hope people are going to not only understand the turn to the left but also accept it.

I think it’s possible to get along with other Canadians, we just have to listen to one another and to look at both side of the coin before passing judgements. Nobody likes to fight…
